Richard Sarll will be speaking at the LSLC on Admiralty Procedures

Richard Sarll will be speaking at the London Shipping Law Centre’s talk on Admiralty Procedures – Errors, Anomalies and Changes of Course in a Digital Age.

The talk will cover points such as:

• “MSC Prestige” c/w “Samco Europe”: a case study to illustrate the suitability of the existing procedures in a digital age

• Digital data at sea: what can now be done with what

• Course corrections: some (perceived) problems with Admiralty procedure, and what could, should, and will be done to put them right

• Recent cases concerning the commencement of collision proceedings (“Theresa Libra”, “Stolt Kestrel”, “CDE v Surewind”, “Styliani Z”, “Melissa K”)

The talk will take place on Wednesday 30th November 2016, 6pm – 8pm, at The IDRC, Fleet Street London. The seminar is accredited for 2 CPD points.
