Timescale for work

Factors which might influence the timescale of the provision of legal services may include: the complexity of the matter; the availability of the barrister; the volume of documents to review; the need for additional information or documents; court waiting times.

Members of Chambers will only accept work if they are available to meet the clients’ requested deadline for the completion of the relevant instructions.  In certain circumstances, however, such as the return date(s) for injunctions, their availability cannot always be guaranteed due to pre-existing commitments; in those circumstances an alternative Counsel may be suggested.
