The members of 7 King’s Bench Walk congratulate Michael Holmes and Professor Alan Dignam on their formal appointments today as Queen’s Counsel.

Michael specialises in all aspects of commercial law, including insurance and reinsurance, shipping and international trade, commercial fraud and professional negligence, with a particular interest in the conflict of laws and jurisdiction disputes.

Alan is a legal academic and Professor of Law at Queen Mary University of London. He is one of the UK’s leading corporate law academics and was part of the original academic team that set up the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC) to provide pro-bono advice to the local community.
