Simon Picken Q.C. and Sushma Ananda represented insurers in a three-week business interruption arbitration involving the impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita on the New Orleans luxury hotel industry. The decision has been the subject of a section 69 appeal to the High Court, and is now on appeal to the Court of Appeal. Alistair Schaff Q.C. and Rebecca Sabben Claire represented the insured in the Commercial Court appeal.
