James Drake KC will be moderating a session at LawAccord in Birmingham, on Tuesday 9 April.
LawAccord is part of SportAccord 2024. Supported by LawInSport it provides insights, debate, and discussion with leading sports executives and legal experts from international sports federations, WADA, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
James will be moderating a session on the implementation and development of rules for transgender athletes in International Federations. The panel will include Brent Nowicki, Executive Director, World Aquatics; Dr Seema Patel from Nottingham Law School; Professor Yannis Pitsiladis, Professor of Sport and Exercise Science, IOC Medical and Scientific Commission Member; and Jonathan Taylor KC, Partner at Bird & Bird.
