Henry joined Chambers in September 2018 following the successful completion of his pupillage and accepts instructions in all areas of law practised at 7KBW. Prior to pupillage, he graduated from the University of Oxford with a Double First.
Henry has experience of Chambers’ core areas of expertise, including insurance and reinsurance, shipping, international arbitration, sale of goods, professional negligence and other commercial work. During the course of his pupillage, he assisted in a variety of domestic and international commercial disputes, including: an insurance claim concerning FCA disciplinary action; a large-scale civil fraud case; an appeal under s69 Arbitration Act 1996 of an award concerning the frustration of a charterparty; a shares dispute between investment funds in the Cayman Islands; and a trial concerning breach of solicitors’ undertakings.
Since accepting an offer of tenancy at Chambers, Henry has been instructed on behalf of the claimants in a multi-million-dollar insurance arbitration concerning an oil pipeline.
