On the 24th January 2018, Gavin Kealey QC was on the panel of judges for the 2nd MLAS Maritime Mooting Competition held in Singapore. The final was presided over by:

Mr. Hanspreet Singh Sachdev from Drew and Napier and Ms. Chow Zi En from Rajah & Tann addressed the Tribunal in the final as claimant and respondent respectively, with Ms. Chow Zi En emerging as the victor.
7KBW were one of the main sponsors for the event and awarded the winner Ms Chow Zi En with a 2 week internship with 7KBW in London including travel and accommodation. The winner was also rewarded with a MPA cash prize of S$1500.
