Sushma Ananda and Julia Gibbon have contributed a chapter to a newly-published book marking 25 years since The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 came into force.
The book (edited by Janet O’Sullivan, Louise Merrett and William Day) comprises contributions from judges, academics and practitioners considering the impact of the Act over the last quarter of a century.
Sushma and Julia’s chapter discusses the role of the Act in insurance disputes in that period, and how the Act might shape the future development of insurance law.
The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 at 25 is published by Hart Publishing. For further information on the book and to order a copy please click here.
