Patrick accepts instructions across all areas of commercial law. His recent and current instructions include:
Before joining 7 King’s Bench Walk, Patrick was the Judicial Assistant to Lord Leggatt in the Supreme Court and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (2022-2023) and to Mr Justice Calver in the Commercial Court (2021-2022). He has therefore gained significant insight into both first instance and appellate proceedings from the judicial perspective.
Patrick also previously practised as a solicitor at a Magic Circle law firm working in commercial litigation and arbitration in London and Washington DC where he gained experience of large-scale commercial disputes, investor-State dispute settlement and SFO investigations.
Patrick holds an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages (Double First) and a postgraduate degree in Comparative Literature (Distinction, third in cohort), both from the University of Cambridge. He also holds an LLB from BPP University (First, third in cohort).
Patrick can work with documents in French and Spanish.
