He acted in the Russian Aircraft LP Claims [2025] EWHC 1430 (Comm) and [2025] EWHC 2529 (Comm), which were some of the largest insurance claims ever brought before the English courts. He continues to act in other significant insurance disputes arising out of the war in Ukraine.

Joshua has spent time seconded to a law firm in Singapore, where he was instructed on an investor-state dispute and assisted with submissions to the Singapore Court of Appeal on a novel point of law concerning the relationship between a seat court and an enforcement court: The Republic of India v Deutsche Telekom [2023] SGCA(I) 10.
Joshua is comfortable receiving instructions and documents in Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, and Bahasa Indonesia.

Acting for an energy company, unled, in relation to the disputed repayment of US$10 million under a deposit agreement.
Acting for insurers in relation to a multi-million-dollar dispute concerning US sanctions law and payment under settlement agreements (led by Jawdat Khurshid).
