7 King’s Bench Walk is delighted to announce that Peter Ferrer will be joining Chambers with effect from Monday 11 May 2026.

Peter is a former equity partner at Harney Westwood & Riegels based in the British Virgin Islands where he was latterly Co-Global Head of Harney’s litigation & insolvency and restructuring team, and a member of the firm’s global executive committee. Peter was called to the Bar in 1998 and before moving to the BVI in 2016, he practised at the Commercial Bar.

At 7KBW, Peter will continue to act for private individuals, corporations and governments across Chambers’ comprehensive areas of commercial practice in litigation and arbitration, including asset finance, aviation and travel, civil fraud, energy, insurance and reinsurance, international trade, professional negligence, and shipping.

Before moving to the BVI in 2016, while practising at the commercial bar, Peter appeared frequently in the Commercial Court and Court of Appeal. He also appeared in the Supreme Court in The New Flamenco. While practising in the BVI, Peter appeared in numerous first instance cases, several ECSC Court of Appeal cases and one appearance in the Privy Council (Fang Ankong and another (Appellants) v Green Elite Ltd). Peter has acted as an expert in various jurisdictions including the United States, Singapore and Pakistan.
