Greg Leyden

Greg Leyden has 40 years of experience behind him having commenced employment at 7KBW in 1984.

He is described in the directories as “one of the primary reasons I go to the set: he’s very good at putting you with the right people” and ‘absolutely superb’ in terms of client/barrister management and ‘getting you in front of the right judge, at the right time, with the right barrister’.

Greg was named Senior Clerk of the Year at the 2024 Legal 500 UK Bar Awards.

He is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of Chambers’ clerking team, and is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the team provide a professional, reliable and personal service to all our solicitors and clients. He is always happy to advise on the type of expertise and experience required for a particular case. He also deals with business development, diary management and fee negotiations in appropriate cases, and is always on hand to advise and assist other members of the clerks’ room.

His interests include playing golf, shooting and fishing.
