Christopher Butcher QC is recognised as one of the country’s leading commercial silks.

His diverse range of expertise covers insurance and reinsurance, banking and finance, shipping and commodities, professional negligence, general commercial litigation, arbitration, jurisdiction and the conflict of laws, as well as credit and credit hire disputes. Described in the legal directories as a “tremendous” and “incredibly powerful” advocate, Christopher has in recent years presented cases to the Supreme Court, the House of Lords, the Privy Council, and the Court of Appeal, as well as the High Court.
