7 King’s Bench Walk is pleased to announce that Aradhya Sethia and Alice Osman joined Chambers as tenants with effect from Wednesday 17 September 2025 following the successful completion of their pupillage in Chambers.
Their practices will cover all areas of commercial litigation and international arbitration. They also accept instructions in public international law and commercial cases involving public law issues.
Before coming to the Bar, Aradhya Sethia taught law at Cambridge, where he also completed his PhD. His legal scholarship has been cited (with approval) by the Supreme Court of India and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He read for the MPhil in Law at the University of Oxford, and completed the LL.M. at Yale Law School. He is qualified as an advocate in India, where he previously assisted two Justices of the Supreme Court and the Attorney General.
Before joining Chambers, Alice Osman worked as a Senior Associate in the international arbitration team of a leading US law firm (London office). In that role, she represented corporations and sovereign States in investment treaty and commercial arbitrations relating to oil and gas, energy, mining, pharmaceuticals and shipping. She also has experience researching and advising on public international law issues. Alice previously practised at a leading commercial and competition law set in New Zealand, and worked as a judges’ clerk (judicial assistant) at the High Court of New Zealand.
